Privacy notice

StanWorks is the trading name of Stan Hunter, a sole trader based in Southport, United Kingdom. I am the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: stan@embify.ai.

What I collect and why

• Contact form: name, business name, email, phone and your message. Used to reply to you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry). Processed by Netlify Forms and delivered to my Microsoft 365 mailbox.
• Booking: email address (verified by a one-time code), name, business name, phone, meeting preference and any notes. Used to create the meeting, send the invite and contact you about it. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before a contract. Stored in my Microsoft 365 calendar and in the website's booking store hosted by Netlify.
• Sign-in cookie: a single essential cookie that remembers your verified email on this device for 30 days. No tracking or advertising cookies are used, and no analytics are set at present.

Who sees it

Only me, and the service providers that run the website and mailbox: Netlify (hosting, forms, booking store) and Microsoft (email and calendar). Both act under their standard data processing terms. I do not sell or share your data with anyone else, and I do not use it for marketing unless you ask me to.

AI tools

I may use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to help draft replies and documents. I use business accounts that do not train on the data entered, and I do not paste more of your information than a task needs.

How long I keep it

Enquiries and booking records for up to two years after our last contact, then deleted. Client work records for six years to meet HMRC requirements.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Email stan@embify.ai. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
